To get started, upload your high-resolution image to our design studio. You’ll see dotted lines on the image, which mark where each canvas will be split. From there, drag and re-center your photo, making sure to keep important areas away from the dotted lines. Our print process ensures that your image flows seamlessly across the panels. We’ll take care of the rest, and your custom creation will arrive ready to brighten up your home. We recommend hanging your split canvases 2.5 cm apart from each other.
A split canvas divides a single continuous image across multiple panels to create one large artwork. A canvas set features a collection of different images meant to be hung together in a gallery wall layout.
We recommend leaving a gap of up to 2.5 cm between each panel. This maintains the flow of the image while giving it a modern, dramatic 3D appearance on your wall. We recommend keeping the gap between the images consistent between each panel when hanging.
No, our studio and print process ensures that your image flows seamlessly across the panels. Our studio will automatically center your image so important areas of your photo won’t get cut off.
The higher resolution, the better. We recommend using photos taken with modern smartphone cameras or SLR cameras. Because your image is being stretched across multiple large frames, we highly recommend using a high-resolution file. If your image is too low-res, our editor will warn you before you check out.
Our canvases are lightweight and come with pre-installed sawtooth hangers. For the easiest setup, use a laser level or painter's tape to mark the top edge of your layout, and measure a consistent 2.5 cm gap between each panel before hammering.
We show a preview of your final design before you purchase, to ensure you are happy with the final appearance before you buy.
